A new report has been released detailing some behind-the-scenes moments of the coaching search for the Denver Broncos as they pursued Jim Harbaugh.
According to sources close to the organization, Harbaugh, the current Michigan Football Coach, delayed the interview with the Broncos by over 30 minutes due to his inability to select the best pair of Khakis for the occasion.
"When the zoom call finally got started, all we could see was Jim perusing his multiple racks of pants," said Broncos owner Greg Penner, "I guess his office is also his closet? Not my cup of tea, but I also have a billion dollars, so whatever floats your boat I guess."
Apparently, the interview did not go swimmingly as Harbaugh soon afterwards declared his intentions to stay at Michigan for the time being.
We also reached out to Harbaugh's wife for comment and received this response: "He is definitely a strange man. Last week I dragged him to Sunday service at our church and he spent the whole morning heckling the pastor about his skinny jeans. Oh, and don’t get me started on his insistence to tuck in his shirts. Do you see John do that? No. Sometimes I do wonder if I picked the wrong brother..."
At this point, there has been no confirmation of a new contract for Harbaugh from Michigan, but rumors are that it is laden with incentives in plenty of Kohl's gift cards.
